About Zhili

Luoyang, Henan. A foundry, not a trading desk.

Thirty years of continuous casting since 1992. 18,000 tonnes annual capacity. ISO 9001:2015 certified. SSAB Hardox Wear Parts Center.

Our Story

From a single furnace to a global wear-parts partner

Founded in 1992 in Luoyang, Henan — China’s ancient capital of metallurgy — Luoyang Zhili New Materials Co., Ltd. began as Songshan Steelmaking Plant, casting small ball mill liners for local mines. Over three decades, we grew from a single-furnace workshop into an 18,000-tonne-per-year modern foundry serving quarry, mining, cement, and recycling operations across 37+ countries.

Today, under the ZHILI® WEARPARTS brand, our product range spans hammer crusher hammers, HSI blow bars, jaw plates, cone mantles and concaves, vertical roller mill castings, cement mill liners, roller press wear parts, heat-resistant castings and grinding balls. Our proprietary Ceramic Composite Matrix Reinforcement Technology — achieving atomic-level metal-ceramic bonding — delivers twice the hardness of standard Mn18Cr2 at ambient temperature, with minimal degradation even under extreme heat.

In 2017, SSAB appointed us as an official Hardox® Wear Parts Center, recognizing our technical standards in welding and processing. Combined with our Duroxite® hardfacing overlay capability and 5 invention patents, we deliver wear solutions engineered for your specific rock type, feed size, and throughput targets. Every part leaving our Luoyang factory carries full material traceability, inspection reports, and a workmanship warranty.

PROPRIETARY TECHNOLOGY

Ceramic Composite Matrix Reinforcement

Atomic-level metal-ceramic bonding. Twice the hardness. Built for extreme conditions.

Our proprietary ceramic composite process achieves true atomic-level bonding between metal and ceramic phases. Unlike conventional insert methods that rely on mechanical interlocking, this creates a unified composite structure where ceramic particles are metallurgically bonded within the metal matrix — delivering exceptional wear resistance even under the most severe working conditions.

Three decades. One foundry. Zero shortcuts.

Founded in 1992, our foundry started with one principle: cast every part as if we were using it ourselves. That principle hasn't changed. Today we operate three casting lines — resin sand, lost foam, and iron mold sand coating — with advanced processes including argon refining, composite inlaying, additive overlay welding, and isothermal heat treatment.

Every heat is verified by spectrometer before pouring. Every batch carries full traceability records. Every shipment leaves with documentation you can actually show your quality team — chemical composition, mechanical properties, heat treatment records, and dimensional inspection.

FACTORY TOURS & INSPECTION

We don't just ship samples. We show you the foundry.

This is how a Spanish cement plant buyer verified his first order. He flew to Luoyang, walked our sand-casting floor, inspected the material test certificates, and watched his own crusher hammer heads come out of the water-toughening quench before they ever touched a pallet.

Every order we ship starts with this same level of visibility. You can see the alloy melt, the heat treatment, the hardness testing, and the packaging — before you commit.

  • On-site casting and heat-treatment walkthrough
  • Real-time chemistry and hardness verification
  • Inspect your own parts before shipment
  • Meet the metallurgist who signs your cert
