Mn18Cr2 work-hardens from ball impact to 500–550 HB — the workhorse choice for cement and mineral processing. Cr-Mo alloy for severe abrasion in SAG/pebble mill applications. Available in wave, classifying, step, and custom lifter profiles. Always supplied as matched lifter + plate sets for even grinding media trajectory.

Replace when grate slot width exceeds design by 3 mm — oversize slot allows coarse particles to escape, increasing circulating load.

Always replace alongside shell liners for a complete mill reline — partial replacement leaves inconsistent grinding media trajectories.
