Cone Crusher Socket Liner / Head Ball

Cone Crusher Socket Liner / Head Ball — wear parts and bronze bushings for Metso HP/GP/MP, Sandvik CH/CS and Symons cone crushers. OEM-compatible supply, custom casting and machining, material certificates included.

Available in lead bronze for Metso HP/MP series and Mn18Cr2 manganese steel for Symons/GP series. The socket liner mates with the main shaft ball, allowing free gyratory motion under full load. Surface finish Ra ≤0.4μm for minimum friction. Replace when inspection reveals grooving or burnishing >30% of contact area.

Cone Crusher Eccentric Bushing

Cone Crusher Eccentric Bushing — wear parts and bronze bushings for Metso HP/GP/MP, Sandvik CH/CS and Symons cone crushers. OEM-compatible supply, custom casting and machining, material certificates included.

Precision eccentric bushing in lead bronze (CuPb15Sn7) or tin bronze (CuSn12). Available as inner bushing, outer bushing, or matched inner+outer set. Centrifugal casting eliminates centreline porosity — the #1 failure mode in static-cast bushings. Runout tolerance <0.05mm across all diameters.

Cone Crusher Countershaft Bushing

Cone Crusher Countershaft Bushing — wear parts and bronze bushings for Metso HP/GP/MP, Sandvik CH/CS and Symons cone crushers. OEM-compatible supply, custom casting and machining, material certificates included.

Inner and outer countershaft bushings in tin bronze (CuSn12) preferred for higher hardness. Sold individually or as a complete bushing kit (inner + outer + thrust washers). Tin bronze (CuSn12) preferred for higher hardness and load rating in heavy-duty applications. Matched sets eliminate fitment risk during field installation.

Cone Crusher Feed Plate / Feed Cone

Cone Crusher Feed Plate / Feed Cone — wear parts and bronze bushings for Metso HP/GP/MP, Sandvik CH/CS and Symons cone crushers. OEM-compatible supply, custom casting and machining, material certificates included.

The feed cone/distributor plate sits atop the mantle assembly, spreading incoming material evenly around the crushing chamber. Uneven distribution creates localized high-wear zones that reduce liner life. Cast in Mn18Cr2 for general applications, Cr26 for abrasive feed, or ceramic-tipped for extreme service life.

True Cost Per Ton Formula

Cost/Ton = (Purchase Cost + Downtime Cost + Labor Cost) ÷ Total Throughput

A budget jaw plate set with frequent change-outs can cost more per ton than a premium Mn22Cr2 set with extended service life. Always evaluate wear parts by total cost per ton, not by purchase price alone. Contact us with your specific application parameters for a tailored cost analysis.

Three Critical Material Rules for Cone Crushers

① Mn steel needs impact to harden. Mn steel needs impact to harden. In tertiary Fine/Short Head crushing, impact energy is low → work-hardening is slow. Consider pre-hardened Mn or Cr26 for low-impact fine crushing.

② Bronze bushings fear dirty oil. Bronze bushings fear dirty oil. 1% silica dust in oil destroys a bushing within hours. Dust seal maintenance is the single most important factor for bushing life.

③ Never mix bronze grades. Never mix bronze grades. Lead bronze inner + tin bronze outer creates galvanic corrosion at elevated temperatures. Bushing life halved; contamination spreads.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Mn18Cr2, Mn22Cr2, or Ceramic — which liner material?
Mn18Cr2: cost-effective for secondary crushing with medium to high impact. Mn22Cr2: for tertiary crushing on abrasive granite — work-hardens faster and reaches higher surface hardness. Ceramic composite liners: for extreme abrasive (basalt, quartzite, high-silica feed) in Fine/Short Head applications — ceramic inserts extend life when impact energy is low.
Bronze or steel — which bushing material for my application?
Lead bronze (CuPb15Sn7, HB 65–80): excellent debris embeddability, conformability, and oil retention — the default for eccentric and socket bushings. Tin bronze (CuSn12, HB 80–100): higher hardness for countershaft and high-load positions. Never mix bronze grades — lead bronze inner + tin bronze outer creates galvanic corrosion at elevated temperatures.
What causes premature mantle/concave failure?
Three causes: (1) Uneven feed distribution — check distributor plate wear and feed cone alignment. (2) Wrong CSS setting — too tight for the feed size causes localized high pressure zones. (3) Dirty oil contaminating bushings — 1% silica dust in oil destroys a bushing within hours, causing eccentric misalignment and uneven liner wear.
How do I confirm fitment without a drawing?
Send us: (1) crusher make/model/year, (2) a photo of your worn parts, and (3) key dimensions (mantle ID, concave OD). We match against our pattern archive covering Metso HP/GP/MP/C, Sandvik CH/CS, Telsmith, Symons, and other major OEM profiles.
