Cone Crusher Feed Plate / Feed Cone
Wrong chamber profile reduces output, overloads the cone and shortens liner life.
Cone Crusher Feed Plate / Feed Cone — wear parts and bronze bushings for Metso HP/GP/MP, Sandvik CH/CS and Symons cone crushers. OEM-compatible supply, custom casting and machining, material certificates included.
The first point of feed contact. Even material distribution = uniform liner wear = longer campaign life.

What should be checked before selecting Cone Crusher Feed Plate / Feed Cone?
This section is the working structure for product-level performance data. It avoids fake numbers now, but keeps the page ready for real wear-life, output and cost-per-ton records when you provide them.
| Metric | Needed from buyer | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Chamber type | Standard, medium, fine, extra fine or short-head reference | Controls crushing zone, throughput and product size. |
| CSS target | Current CSS range and target output size | Wrong liner profile can overload the cone or reduce capacity. |
| Feed gradation | Feed curve, fines content and maximum feed | Helps avoid ring bounce, poor utilization and uneven liner wear. |
Common failure modes we check before recommending this part
Liner life below expectation
Likely cause
Feed segregation, wrong chamber or abrasive material
What we check
Feed curve, wear map, mantle / concave pairing and alloy.
Cone overload or ring bounce
Likely cause
CSS too tight, fines overload or wrong profile
What we check
CSS target, feed fines, chamber type and operating load.
Poor final shape
Likely cause
Wrong crushing ratio or liner cavity
What we check
Stage duty, product target and liner geometry.

True Cost Per Ton Formula
A budget jaw plate set with frequent change-outs can cost more per ton than a premium Mn22Cr2 set with extended service life. Always evaluate wear parts by total cost per ton, not by purchase price alone. Contact us with your specific application parameters for a tailored cost analysis.
Three Critical Material Rules for Cone Crushers
① Mn steel needs impact to harden. Mn steel needs impact to harden. In tertiary Fine/Short Head crushing, impact energy is low → work-hardening is slow. Consider pre-hardened Mn or Cr26 for low-impact fine crushing.
② Bronze bushings fear dirty oil. Bronze bushings fear dirty oil. 1% silica dust in oil destroys a bushing within hours. Dust seal maintenance is the single most important factor for bushing life.
③ Never mix bronze grades. Never mix bronze grades. Lead bronze inner + tin bronze outer creates galvanic corrosion at elevated temperatures. Bushing life halved; contamination spreads.

What are the most common questions about this part?
When should I switch to ceramic-tipped? +
When feed material has abrasive index >0.4 g/t. Granite and quartzite consistently benefit. Limestone is fine on Mn18Cr2.
Can you match Cone Crusher Feed Plate / Feed Cone without an OEM part number? +
Yes. Send the machine make and model, worn-part photos, key dimensions or a drawing. We check the fitment route before quoting and confirm what information is still missing.
Which material grade should I choose for Cone Crusher Feed Plate / Feed Cone? +
Material selection depends on feed material, impact level, abrasion, operating temperature and the position of the part. We compare your application against the current wear pattern before recommending a grade.
What information do you need for a useful quote? +
The fastest quote comes with equipment model, OEM reference if available, quantity, target delivery date, feed material, working position and any photos or drawings of the existing part.
Do you supply certificates and inspection records? +
Yes. Material certificates, chemistry, hardness checks, dimensional inspection and traceability records can be supplied with the order when requested.
What should you prepare before requesting a quote?
- 1 Crusher make, model, and OEM part number
- 2 Feed material type and hardness
- 3 Required quantity and target delivery date
- 4 Special requirements (certifications, custom packaging)
